How is Victava different from Stripe Smart Disputes?
Smart Disputes assembles evidence from the data in your Stripe account and, by default, auto-submits it for you. Victava adds the evidence Stripe doesn't have — your Shopify orders, helpdesk threads, and carrier delivery proof — tells you when a dispute isn't worth fighting, and never files without your approval. Our success fee is 20% versus Stripe's 30%, and both charge $0 if you lose.
Do I need to install anything on Shopify?
No. Victava installs on Stripe and runs on your Stripe disputes. We connect to your Shopify store as a data source — orders, fulfillment, and tracking — to strengthen your evidence, but there are no code changes to your store.
Do you support Shopify Payments?
Not yet as a processor — today we defend disputes on Stripe charges (we do pull data from your Shopify store into those defenses). But if you run on Shopify Payments and want in, tell us: we ship processor support fast for our first merchants, so email support@victava.com and we'll build it. We'd rather build exactly what an early customer needs than ship a half-finished list.
Will you submit evidence without my approval?
Never. Mandatory human approval is a permanent architectural constraint, not a feature flag. The pipeline assembles the defense and then stops and waits for you to review, edit, and click approve.
